Back to ReviewsFormer Employee CoStar has 1,300+ sales people and counting. Your experience there is completely dependent on situation. You have reps with outstanding books of business who have it made. You have great reps with horrible managers and your life is miserable. Some divisions are way worse than others. Avoid LoopNet, Ten-X at all costs. Costar sales is okay depending on market. Apartments.com and homes.com are the golden child. Overall you have the best products in the industry that sell themselves but balance that with a grinding culture. There’s money to be made at CoStar and after spending years there it helped me build some wealth but after a while it’s time to go or they’ll lay you off when the entire division struggles.
