The cliquey culture rewards how you play the game vs the actual value you bring to the business and its customers. More than anywhere else I’ve worked, the level of brown-nosing you do plays an huge hand in whether you advance or get canned. Lots of re-orgs and layoffs. All of this is par for the course for PE backed firms, but they make a solid attempt at selling themselves as something different and special.
