Recession proof products. Big-time good ol' boys club but leadership was helpful. Base salary was below market but you can learn a lot.

Local management is everything and is why I stayed as long as I did. Systems and processes are out of date and executives are slow to change. Lots of cold calling and door knocking, products are overpriced compared to competitors in the space so you are constantly either sacrificing commission or sales.
