Firm has very smart people, and a market leading product. Deal flow is limited however due to the size of the TAM and length of contracts for these types of end to end solutions. Long sales cycles, and brutal RFPs. Clients due diligence is extensive and can take years. Great pace for ICs who know the markets very well and love risk and trading technology. Reps need to be patient only likely to close a handful of deals, the firm runs a highly consultative sales process. The legal team is phenomenal and extremely talented. Management can be quite cut throat for deal reviews

Not a typical tech sales organisation, highly reliant on the BlackRock brand and leveraging senior execs for large deals. Conservative outbound approach so reliant on marketing for inbound leads. Trade off for working with large organisation, will be paid similar bonus year on year.
