My overall experience at BD was positive as an early-career sales person. Their compensation was much better prior to 2018. It's been declining in comparison to other industry roles since then. However, opportunities to continue growing as an individual contributor were limited and advancement by working for a different business unit was not encouraged.

The VP of the division essentially got in trouble for encouraging us to sell prior to a product being FDA-approved yet nothing happened other than a slap on the wrist. The sales tactics are not above board and the leadership here is extremely toxic.
