Back to ReviewsFormer Employee BambooHR was a phenomenal company in the early days, but in the past 3-4 years it has pretty much become just another corporation. Sales leadership is uninspiring and product fell behind because the product team didn’t listen to the sales team/market and accelerate development as they should have. To the company’s credit, a new CPO (Brian Crofts) was hired and the company, though still behind in some ways, is making up ground.
Pros: 1) While the overall company culture is blah, BambooHR has great people in each department who are a pleasure to work with. 2) Fantastic sales enablement team 3) The company’s reputation among HR professionals has been its saving grace. Customer loyalty is very strong and sales reaps a lot of benefit from positive reviews and referrals from existing clients.
Cons: 1) Compensation is nothing special 2) Quota is monthly, do no matter how well you do one month, you start over the next. This can be very draining and stressful. A quarterly quota would be better. 3) Sales reps are told they can take vacation, but there’s no quota relief or make-up when you return, so reps are incentivized to always work. Browse Other Reviews
