Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee My experience at Attentive is on the SMB AE team. Every person on the team is an internal promotion (SDR promoted to AE). Our base salary seems very low based on the market (i.e. I was making 55k base as an SDR, 57.5k as a Sr. SDR, and I only received a $2500 bump in base to AE to land at 60k).
The SMB team wears many hats: in addition to sourcing almost 100% of our own meetings and closing deals, we also run implementation and customer success for our territories.
OTE is 120k, but I don't see a path to hitting above 100k this year, despite hitting my goals. Quota is based on launching brands on the software (Account GNB v. ARR) and actual commission is paid out based on how much the account invoices each month (our deal size is 5.5k-13k, so imagine a 1-2k commission per account paid out over 12 months).
I'd proceed with caution before accepting a role here. They track bizarre metrics and it's difficult to get a straight answer on OTE from leadership. Unsure how this is reflected across other teams (ENT, STRAT). Browse Other Reviews
