The acquisition and current economy has effected sales. Leadership changes, budget cuts, and evolving market all have made an impact. They will be launching a new approach in a year or two.

The company was a market leader in the MDR space. Since the acquisition, Fortra hasn’t provided the same leadership and investment in order to grow and maintain their position and brand recognition. They need to invest in the product and service together with their employees to ensure they can begin to regain some of the market.

At Alert Logic in 2023, no reps hit quota which wasn’t even an option on RepVue. The company was acquired by Fortra, whose leadership can only be described as incompetent and uniformed at best. It was a great company/ culture until it became Fortra. Everything changed from company culture to compensation, salary, and comp is below for an industry such as Cyber Security.
