Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee No training for account executives that expand industry acumen & skillsets. Primary product you sell is "pipes" which really are world class. Customers don't get fired for buying AT&T in the enterprise space. The company makes it in strategic/enterprise accounts to gain long term momentum. Large enterprise reps are compensated on billed revenue but it takes 3 years minimum due to contract cycles before a module bears fruit. When reps do get the module humming the two year "realignment" occurs and seldom for the better for anyone in the group. From there the cycle goes on every two years. You build/fix a module and lose it.
Salaries are decent -better than the other Tier 1 Business Telcos and Cable companies. 401K match, HSA match are good on high deductible plans. Long & short it's a good company to cut your teeth in telco but if you are aggressive and have good closing skills you will never exceed 200K. For reference I was a top 5 rep for 4 years in a row and barely cleared 200K. Browse Other Reviews
