In coming years the mid-market divisions will struggle to compete with the new and disruptive companies that are leading with innovation. Company culture hasn't changed since the 90s and that is reflected in the salaries too.

Commissions and accelerators are attractive, but there's a clawback clause and reps have zero influence in implementation.
