However, the inbound lead flow is poor, the compensation structure is poor, and there is a revolving door of talent on the executive leadership team. My overall career stability has never been less favorable and I have worked for four different startups. I also believe that the product and its capabilities are below average compared to the bigger players in the space, such as Adyen and Stripe. There are better payments companies to work for and the culture at Stax has gone downhill dramatically since the private equity firm controlling the board of directors fired the founders.
