3 things I care about when looking at an opp & where incident.io stood out: 1. The Founders and Their Vision I like to understand how founders came together & what inspired them to build the company. It’s also important to me that they’re always thinking ahead, not just about the current product. The founders here were friends & former colleagues who dealt with incident management challenges firsthand. The product actually started as an open-source tool they built at their previous company, which quickly gained traction with hundreds of employees. Their vision goes way beyond just shipping customer-requested features - it’s something I’m pumped about 2. Product and Eng Teams It’s rare to see a product team that can balance unblocking deals with staying true to the long-term vision - but incident nails it I’ve seen them ship features within hours to help move deals forward. 3. Opportunity to Grow Seeing clear paths for growth is a big deal for me, and it’s clear that Incident invests in their people. There are plenty of examples of internal promotions and folks in GTM absolutely crushing it. It’s the kind of place where you can actually see a future for yourself.
