Everbridge has provided many areas to grow and learn as a professional but has made too many acquisitions over the past few years. This has cause far too much confusion among the sales department, thus has resulted in many experienced sales professionals to leave. Yet, they do not like to fill these positions with BDRs, so most BDRs spend a minimum of 2.5 years before they are even considered for a position.

The overall experience was fine. My teammates and immediate leadership were helpful, but it feels like things are moving backwards. Competitors have been able to catch up over the last few years, both from a capabilities and pricing perspective, and there is little evidence that this has been addressed. We are the industry leader when it comes to our products, and as a result, a customer or prospect is willing to spend money for the best we win deals. Leadership is also very lenient with discounts, so it’s very easy to win in the competitive sales deals as well. If you’re a professional SaaS sales person and put in your 40 hours of work per week, you’ll do very well.
