Back to ReviewsFormer Employee When I worked there, management was very poorly trained. Leadership was composed of a network of individuals who would pull each other up after getting promoted. It seemed more like a group of friends who were promoted and ran the sales department, rather than qualified managers who understood sales and could effectively help, develop, and train their salespeople. The management style leaned heavily towards micromanagement and threats based on fear. Struggling representatives were left to fend for themselves, and managers had complete control over lead flow, favoring their chosen favorites for success while others were destined to fail. Good representatives would attempt to transition into management, as it was the only reliable way to earn decent money at DeVry, given the poor pay. Browse Other Reviews
