Look, when I first started at Darktrace it was a shit show. Three years is a long time though, and the company is trending towards becoming one of the best in the space. With the recent Thoma Bravo aquisition, I would expect to be fully aligned with market in the next year, and then beating it in the next three. If you have the opportunity, Darktrace currently represents a fantastic opportunity. All of the baggage of the past is dropping away and the company is looking towards a bright future. Can something happen to disrupt it? Sure. But the company has brought in senior leadership from across the tech and SaaS world, to make sure that the brilliance of the product is executed on and we are able to compete in a US market instead of dominating in the UK alone. Compensation is now aligned with our business and role objectives, is more than fair, with accelerators to encourage above and beyond performance. Sometimes getting comp plans can take awhile, and sometimes the commission gets screwed up- but that's anywhere I've been. Be your own advocate, work hard, and you'll be amply rewarded.

My experience has been tremendous with Darktrace. The role does take time to build out a book of business but if you are consistent and successful with the firm you can make life changing money at this company.
