Leadership is product-focused and seems to be an elite EPD team coming mostly from Facebook, Dropbox and Amazon. Sales leadership turned over 2x in 6 months and while I was there it was difficult to advocate for needs of sales in this environment. Leadership tried to do it’s own in-house sales training but it wasn’t lead by anyone with a background in sales. Lots of turnover in the gtm org made things difficult. Ultimately the small sales team still hit quota at an amazing 100% attainment, but perceptions were that sales wasn’t doing enough.

Common Room has an amazing product with an EPD team that continues to build and improve. This is a super fast paced, exciting environment where you can thrive if you stick with it, continue to learn, and continue to grind.

It’s pretty intense but that’s the nature of a fast growing company. Hoping to exceed my quota this quarter lots of opportunity to do so. Need to be a self starter not much enablement
