The result has been a very high emphasis is on risk aversion versus new product R&D - creating an erosion of market relevance. For a technology company within a finite and evolving vertical market, this is a challenge - specifically in attracting new logo customers. Related to this, investment in Sales enablement functions and tools are not valued as a high priority.
