I spent three years at VMWare before the acquisition where I earned $1.7M. On year four (year 1 of Broadcom) - they didn't give us quotas and instead just paid us OTE whether we booked a deal or not. Current Employee5.0Dec 18, 2024Broadcom is brutally efficient. Hock is an excellent CEO who has made the company very successful. If you do what’s asked of you, you get paid handsomely in RSUs. It is an incredibly well run ship that exceeds its goals consistently. The software stack they develop/maintain is some of the best in the world, so it’s sold at high premium.
