Vivint Smart Home
Back to ReviewsFormer Employee My experience at Vivint was great as a starting sales job. It definitely taught me the value of "grunt work". Being in a commission only door to door sales job is the best way in my opinion to get your foot in the door to the world of sales because they're always looking for new talent.
The pros: Unlimited earning potential, you get out of it what you put into it. I won a company incentive trip my first year and that was the reason that I stuck around for a second year because no opportunity had ever paid for me to stay at a resort in Mexico before. And lastly, the amazing people I met there. I know this varies a lot from team to team but the office I was in led me to a lot of the friendships that i've carried on for years to come.
The cons: The main downside to working at Vivint is that because you're a 1099 contractor so there's very little "benefits" besides the commission pay and incentives. No healthcare, no pto, no sick days, no base. Browse Other Reviews
