I enjoyed a long and fulfilling career at Verizon, and for many years, I thought I would retire there. While the company still offers great potential for some, it’s a business that is continually evolving and will need to adapt even more in the future. Training and conferences were annoying because it was just a rah rah fest but obviously good to know and pitch company strengths. Training was more product driven with solution selling but didn’t cover more advanced holistic approaches to really build authentic rapport and undercover challenges of potential client

Pay does not align with the workload. Great tools and you learn a lot just by doing the job but many feel overwhelmed.
