My overall experience was decent. Pay was okay, but capped on over performing. Company being acquired and the leadership pushing return to office for no reason was a huge red flag. Cultish organization where the people who kiss up the most are the valued, which isn’t unique to VMware. Discouraged speaking to teammates about compensation, because they take advantage of it not being standardized.
