The amount of the workload coupled with the pay structure was appalling for anyone who had been in the sales industry for as long as I have been. None of the managers knew how to do the role and the expectations they had were completely unattainable. At best we were putting in 50-60 hrs of work to get a $40k salary. When other sales positions with the same amount of work had reps starting at 60k and not it being OTE.
