Overall culture was dev focused and very interested in SF social issues more than selling products. Very complicated comp plan and very hard to make money as a sales rep.

My overall experience at Twilio over 4+ years was largely positive - the people and culture was very collaborative with the COVID years being a great tailwind for the business.

New business greenfield accounts in enterprise segment was incredibly difficult. Near no inbound lead flow and took long sales cycles to get small land deals. Quotas unattainable unless you had big current spenders.
