The environment has been so depressing and dark as of lately. The curtain has been pulled back and everyone sees this company for what it truly is. I'm tired of looking at Glassdoor to see an honest review posted just for it to me mysteriously deleted shortly after. I cannot wait to get out of here ASAP, but the job market is so whacky right now so I've been fighting through it. They recently changed the core values (HUGE RED FLAG given all that's been happening at Tropic) and added "Act like an owner" - What type of behavior is this truly encouraging? To me, this is just enablement to talk the talk before walking the walk and perpetuates the egotistical behavior displayed by most in management. This is the reason for layoffs, and so many people fired after for "performance related reasons". Tropic is so cliquey, it's hard not to feel someone looking over your back or judging you for whatever reasons. The change in core values says it all, but hey I hope those reading this out there avoid this company. Don't believe the hype, or the most recent influx of good reviews. Its a coverup.

Up and down experience so far. Definitely not put in a situation that is winnable without a lot of extra effort and creating opportunity for myself. Inbound leads have severely dried up in the last 6 months.
