Poor, cult-like leadership. They claimed the last round of layoffs were "performance-based" but 3 of them were on paternity leave. Product is questionable. They don't care about your growth. And you have to play the political game & be a yes man to maintain, nevermind advance, your career here.

Tropic isn’t what it used to be w ppl crushing quota, making amazing $…that’s why some of the best sales people are leaving. Nobody has hit quota for a few quarters. Recent ultra positive reviews on here = trying to protect the brand for TA purposes. Top talent isn’t flocking to them anymore.

I had a solid experience with Tropic and my coworkers. Overall the company seems to be heading in the right direction. While there are some areas that need improvement, it is still a scrappy startup that is clawing its way through the market.
