I had a solid experience with Tropic and my coworkers. Overall the company seems to be heading in the right direction. While there are some areas that need improvement, it is still a scrappy startup that is clawing its way through the market.

Started off great but growing way too fast. There is a level of arrogance that has come in through the director of sales and the team is very cocky as they are right no matter what. Expect to work 60+ hours per week and have a deteriorating culture. Be very wary of the high ratings on here

This company is unfortunately run by a group of egotistical white men. They say they are about transparency but it is selective transparency. They boast about their Glassdoor reviews- it’s easy to have great ones when you delete the bad ones.

Overall they miss the mark. They refuse to layer people which has inevitably led to leadership who are underqualified and care more about you genuflecting and drinking the kool aid than actual success and realisitic goals.
