How satisfied are you with the compensation structure in the sales department at TQL?

It can take you anywhere from 6 months to multiple years to earn any commission. I am not satisfied with the commission structure.

Hahaha, if you break it down hourly you will likely be embarrassed. That's why they put you on salary. Long hours without paying more. Most new hires never get to commission, they end up quitting or getting fired before getting to that point.

Average rep does not see commission until 1.5yrs in and even then it’s a very small margin. You only make commission if your commission % is greater than your monthly base pay which takes years to build up to AND then they subtract your base pay from your commission check. Dont believe the recruiter

For what you have to do there (pre-sales, post sales, accounting, account managing, bill collector) you aren't compensated well in base or commission, if you're lucky enough to see commission. your first 6 months is working for another broker, so there's no opp for commission. month 6-12 you are building your book and trying to collect money for your freight. Where they get you is it's not Base + Commission, it's base OR commission. You make $1,500 every 2 weeks, then you need to collect over $1,500 in BROKER PROFITS. Meaning if you collect $5,000 in revenue for the week, but your commission is only 20%, then you're at $1,000 - You don't see that money, cause you didn't pass the $1,500 threshold. Now if you hit $10,000 collected at 20% you hit $2,000 - You get commission, but not $3,500, you get $2,000. So TQL makes $10,000 from you, and they give you $500 extra. So you really get 5% extra.

Most companies do Base + commission and if you close a deal it's extra money. TQL is deceptive, disloyal, and a MLM in the 3PL industry.
