The sales process is based on high volume activities aimed at the wrong audience, major time waste. The sales team is held accountable and micromanaged around these activity numbers. 90% which are a complete waste of everyone's time, including the prospects. Little thought is given to strategic account management. It is all about the worthless activity numbers.
