Which departments or product lines at Stryker could be a good fit for someone interested in sales, and what makes them appealing choices for potential applicants?

Stryker is a great place for a salesman. Premium product in just about every division with great culture. Some caveats is most positions are 100% commission and you need to earn your role. Very difficult to start in a full line rep role without previous med device experience. Most start as an ASR.

Stryker views themselves as a sales organization. That is what fuels the machine.  What I would look into is what are the best ways to get into a sales position and what kind of lifestyle do you want to live... I was total joints with some Trauma.  I was on call pretty much 24/7.  My colleague and I alternated weekends as needed.  I am not saying that is how all territories run though.

If the main goal is to get a sales job at Stryker,  I would get on linkedin and find reps in your area, get to know them and learn more about how Styker is distributed in the area... are they all direct, are you working for/with a distributor? and where do they need help. You will likely have to start as an associate, which in a lot of cases is you running around doing the things that nobody else wants to do. You have to earn your stripes.
