Former Employee I worked at Spreedly for a little under a year. Spreedly’s product offering is first class and fills a major need in the market. Spreedly as a company is the complete opposite. The company stresses the importance of culture, but is so out of touch with their employees, their customers, and themselves.
I was part of a team that was tasked with growing the business, especially with new customer logo acquisitions. The sales leadership team is aligned on the common goals and does a great job of communicating those down to the front line employees.
Unfortunately they are faced with headwinds from all other areas of the business, including product, people operations, finance, etc…
You cannot grow without changing. Change can sometimes be uncomfortable though. Until Spreedly leadership is ready to do an honest assessment of their current leadership team and understand that more than half the company prioritizes their own comfort over the stated goals for the next 3-5 years, then nothing will change and their growth will be stunted.
So in summary, great product, great customer base…. terrible people management, toxic environment, me-me-me culture. Browse Other Reviews
