Overall Smith & Nephew is a good company to work for. Quotas are realistic, although a shift to “buckets” has made full OTE and bonuses less realistic. 3/4 buckets is a reasonable expectation for most of the sales force, and there are several good resources to help with selling.

Overall a good company that I would recommend working for. OTE need to be more aligned with the industry. Have good 401k match.

It was ok. They began to add headcount and cut everyone’s pay with no warning. Company culture of low performers and managers that just suck up to each other instead of doing what’s best for their teams.

Smith&Nephew is a great launching point for a medical sales career. I was in Sports Medicine, where the product line ranks up there with all of the big players. The training could be better, however, they encourage you to run your own business and learn at your own pace. If you can hustle and manage rejections well, you can thrive in this company
