The team is blast, pay is solid, and the work you’ll do with customers is rewarding, however, Planet doesn’t view the SDR position as a proving/training ground for promotion to AE/AM the way most companies do. Do not take this role if you’re viewing it as an 18 month stepping stone to a closing role.

It was a good time and a fun opportunity but now having moved on to a more formalized sales org, it’s mind boggling how unstructured it was at planet. Company has such a great mission and I do think there’s potential for long term success there provided they can make the right moves in the next few years.
