My overall experience is satisfactory, but always left something to be desired. Compensation is fair, but internal red tape and corporate policies always made the job harder than it should have been

Do not work here. The worst company you could possibly work for. My boss used to tell me to shut up all the time and I told HR, nothing was done (keep in mind I’m a quiet person, she would just say this to be mean).

Paycom is a great company for someone who is starting their career in sales. They have great sales training and trainers. They focus a lot on quantity rather than quality, they are truly a numbers organization. If you can focus on getting the right accounts and selling them fast, you will succeed.

Must schedule 12 in person appts. your first two weeks or you’re fired (so they say). 250-300+ call per day, 60+ hour work weeks, traveling, micromanaging, cold calling in the car at all times, high stress/pressure. Most teams hover around 3-5 reps because nobody lasts over a year (typically).
