This was my second time at Oracle Marketing Cloud. The first tour was recently after Responsys acquisition and were the best years in my sales career. I made the most money and had the most fun. The second tour was the total opposite, insular leadership, never met my manager or team in person, target was to sell Marketing Cloud into Public Sector which was a poor product market fit. No support from Marketing or BDR org, internal competition with other pillars such as ERP and Tech. Ended up getting laid off with no warning and 15-day severance when people from other similar tech companies were getting 6 months. The product direction was horrible. Internal CRM is a nightmare. A lot of processes and internal red tape.

For a sdr role it's good, but the salary is a little bit below the average in EMEA.
