This opportunity can be a good stepping stone, but it’s one where you want to get in and get out. If you perform exceptionally well during your first month of training, be aware that they may place you on the worst-performing team to balance out the talent—so be strategic about how you approach that initial period. The job involves a high turnover rate and requires you to be comfortable with cold calling all day. While a handful of top-performing reps earn around $3,000–$5,000 per month in commissions (with one standout earning $10,000 monthly), the majority barely make $2,000. Your earnings will ultimately depend on your performance, so you are in control to some extent. However, I’ve noticed a significant flaw: many of the business owners I’ve sold to end up canceling the service within a few months, which suggests the product might not be the best.
