Pros: Mission-driven product with the potential to truly help people improve their financial wellness. Talented individual contributors who care about their work. Flexible work environment and remote-friendly culture. Cons: The company feels stuck. There’s a lack of clear strategy or vision for growth, and teams are often left spinning their wheels without strong leadership. The CEO is largely absent and disconnected from the day-to-day realities of the business. This has led to a lack of accountability at the executive level and inconsistent prioritization across teams. Decision-making tends to be reactive rather than proactive, and there's a general feeling of stagnation among employees. Limited career development opportunities and low morale due to ongoing uncertainty about the company’s direction. Advice to Management: Re-engage with the team and provide a clear, transparent strategy. Empower leaders within the org to make meaningful decisions and drive execution. The potential is there, but it needs focused, present leadership to move forward.
