Low base pay, small loan sizes, very micromanaged, lots of turnover here. The pay is not competitive and very high interest rate offerings/ discount points compared to the competition.

I worked as a mortgage loan officer and primarily spoke to existing customers who's loans we already services. We refinanced their mortgage in house. I also transferred to the purchase department in my last 2 months to speak to potential new clients on the home buying journey with a sales cycle typically being that of 6 months
