My overall experience has been good. I started at the company in a Mid-Market New Logo sales position and was promoted to our strategic accounts. Innovation and growth are still at the forefront of this company with capex and resources being poured into our products. However, I think compensation is behind the market.

Morningstar is a huge company and this score only reflects my experience in a small team out of the entire 10,000+ person company. Overall I think Morningstar is a great place to work and varies significantly between roles/ teams/ products/ etc.

Products suck. Culture is great. Sales managers are supportive and care (most of them) the brand helps but if you want to hit quota you need to know a lot of finance. Like good sales people here are CSM level knowledgeable. Marketing doesn’t help us and sales enablement just wastes time too. Growing competition. Some products were dominant. No more
