MarketStar is a sales contractor. Pay largely depends on the account you are assigned to. I have seen contracts with a base pay ranging from $40,000 to $110,000. Normally, there is a bonus of about $5,000 to $10,000, with some contracts offering higher amounts.

It was a good entry level channel sales job and helped me make connections and build my resume. It doesn't seem like they want to promote but rather get talent in, have them work for 2 years and then move on to a different role.

My overall experience was good. I loved the culture and environment. However, ramping up took almost your whole first Q. They also kept increasing your goal each Q whether you met your quota the previous Q or not. One thing that was rough is if you didn’t hit at least 65% of your quota you got 0% commission on any sales you had made.

Capped commission so the drive to continue working after hitting quota within the Dropbox team was not easy. But the lead flow was always keeping me very busy which was really nice! I always had a very full and busy calendar. Just wish I could have had an opportunity to make more money with how busy I stayed.

Sales as a service org, capped earnings due to contract sales work pay varies between contract, consistently under market average but compensates with culture, benefits and opportunities to sell for on a unique variety of Brands and try a lot of sales different roles.

It was great to learn how to work with multiple industry defining clients but the workload was not commensurate to the industry standard. Working with our clients who were making double our salary to do the same job was absolutely demoralizing
