Lux is an exceptional company filled with brilliant people. Its is very difficult to sell an intangible solution in a market where your target clients are settling for the status quo. During my time at the org there was 4 major leadership changes that resulted in the company taking new directions. It also doesnt help when Lux is owned by a PE firm that tries to position the product like a SAS solution when it clearly isnt. Overall, the people at Lux are incredible and there is so much to learn from the analyst team. If you are applying to the AE position understand that you are generating 100% of your own pipeline and have a very short leash so do your best to socialize yourself across the org with the research team and AM team.

I've worked on different teams and through several iterations of leadership and comp plans. It's been a rollercoaster but we finally have a leader in place whom I trust and have full faith in, so hoping the changes yet to come improve the organization and experience for reps and clients.

There are good people at Lux, but the company has suffered from a down market and many strategic missteps and frequent changes in leadership and strategy.
