is it worth selling Sales Solutions in this day in-age? is there still a market for it considering it's a product that's been out for sometime now and I imagine it's reached a ceiling by this point.

No. This team has historically been slow growth and missed expectations. The team also discontinued the Sales Insights products due to performing below expectations. I would also ask questions about layoffs regarding the account partners team, which could see reductions in staff.  The highest growth team is Talent Solutions, Followed by Marketing Solutions.

If you are in the mid-market territory, maybe, but definitely not in Enterprise. Most companies that would use SN either have a corporate agreement in place or instruct their reps to buy individual licenses.

SMB only, but there’s no growth. Mid market is called the graveyard, ENT team had a significant RIF 2 years ago and never recovered.

There is still a strong market for Sales Navigator based on the unique commercial value that comes from LinkedIn’s data.  There is plenty of upside though LSS does need to expand into new industries and roles.  This does make the role more challenging but rewarding.

I work in LSS and can confirm we have reached our ceiling. MM and ENT are selling to law firms and construction companies that have 10-20 sellers. Also, the leadership within LSS lacks experience. Our VP hasn't hit her quota in eight consecutive quarters, and the guidance provided was simply to target a 150% achievement, without offering any strategic or substantial advice. LSS may be experiencing the most significant growth, but this is based on a modest 8% year-over-year increase. If you're external, I suggest looking somewhere else.

You could say the same about Salesforce or any popular product that’s been out for a while. Always new logo or expansion opps to target. Doubt we’ll see the growth of a brand new product again but we’re still gaining share and growing. Management claims we’re only 10% penetrated in our TAM fwiw.

LSS (LinkedIn Sales Solutions) is a huge market. I would MUCH RATHER sell sales products than learning products (ex- LinkedIn Learning) right now in this market.

People spending money with LSS are planning to make money (have measurable ROI on the product), LinkedIn Learning does not offer any measurable ROI and is way harder to sell IMO (I am in a role wear I sell hiring products and learning products).

I work in a different sales org within LinkedIn, but I can confidently tell you that LSS remains the strongest line of biz in terms of YoY growth currently. Food for thought.
