How effective is the sales training program at LeadIQ for individuals interested in pursuing a career in sales?

When I worked at LeadIQ a few years ago, the sales training was minimal. It consisted of other reps joining a couple of my calls. I have received much better support and training at other organizations.

The TAM is also very small and it is difficult to prospect new accounts. That being said it sounds like there is all new management now, so things may have changed over the years.

I worked at LeadIQ for a couple years (2020-2021). Training at that time was non-existent. As a new SDR with no experience I was handed a single page google doc and never received call coaching from my manager. I will say it is all new leadership there now, but the TAM is really small and it is hard to sell LeadIQ against ZoomInfo even though LeadIQ is a better product in many ways! Hope that helps.

The training is on par with what you’d expect from a startup.

LeadIQ’s sales and BD team has had high turnover the past few years since most of the leadership team aren’t very experienced or have failed upward. I’d be very wary of accepting any positions with expectations of good support.

No formal training of sales methodologies; besides on the job. Not uncommon for early stage companies. If you are looking for structure or ongoing training I would focus on larger organizations that have the bandwidth. What you give up in training you gain in access to leadership.
