It seems like the product was great and marketing was on point. Unfortunately there was, and appears to continue to be the case, the wrong leadership from the top and that trickled down to a broken system that just did not work. There have been over five rounds of layoffs due to leadership not listening to subject matter experts and mismanagement of funds invested into the company.

My overall experience at Latch was good. I worked with a great team there. Unfortunately last summer (2022) they had several rounds of layoffs as they were not performing as well as expected and had gone public earlier that year through a SPAC.
