This structure appears intentional, as leadership believes quotas are too low if more than the top earners are achieving them.
While the company emphasizes promoting from within, this often translates to lower compensation for internal promotions compared to external hires. Management tends to view employees as replaceable, which can impact morale and career satisfaction. I have yet to meet a specialist or sales engineer who feels content or fulfilled in their current role—most are actively seeking opportunities elsewhere.
