No diversity whatsoever in certain departments. I was the only person in my entire 80+ person department who wasn't white or a man and was told people dont trust mebbecause im not friendly enough. Professional development and career advancement are non-existent after cutting the annual promotion cap from the already low 10% to 5%. Hard-core boys club culture. Both the company and the industry on the retail side. Oh and once you start working there you realize that Instacart is a highly unethical company that treats their contractors, employees, and customers like sheep to feed to their wolves in shareholders clothing. Everybody is blaming politics for inflation when companies like Instacart are actively marketing and selling the opportunity to price gouge to their retailers and cpgs. Horrible experience and culture overall. Everyone I've met with at this company across all different verticles and teams is absolutely drained working here amd missing targets but being held hostage by the horrible job market right now.

We have strong customer loyalty in CPG and retail. The go to market strategy and pricing model are still evolving for some of our solutions, which has made the sales cycle challenging at times.
