SoftwareReviews took a nosedive in 2023 and never recovered. All the reps with previous sales experience were let go in favor of those with customer service backgrounds who lack the experience to understand how poorly they are being led.

It's gonna be a slog. It's sales. One issue is that the lines between roles gets muddied all too frequently as a result of sudden hyperfocus on growth. Proceed with caution.

Achievements are based on extreme self-driven hard work and luck. There is no support for sales - no SaaS tools to help with the role, no marketing help. Inbound leads are very rare (maybe 1 every 3-4 months and even then it's highly unqualified).
