Indeed.com
Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee I have been with Indeed for 8+ years. The company has changed a lot over the years. At first, the site was very straightforward and simple, where as now there are several products and the site as a whole is very complicated. Selling here is amazing when the economy is strong, but when its not, the job is very much luck based since you only work 50-100 accounts (at maximum).
The biggest challenge when selling here, is the pay per click advertising product. PPC can be great to sell, because its a quick and easy sales process, but on the flip side, clients do not need to commit to longterm deals - there are absolute zero contracts/commitments on Indeed. This can be lead to your quota performance being very unpredictable - or if a big client goes through a hiring freeze, it could ruin a whole quarter.
I would just add that IMO, Indeed is not inclusive. Indeed constantly takes side in political issues and makes employees feel isolated. In 2023, Indeed laid off a huge portion of employees, and then just a few months later, offered $10k relocation to employees that felt their state wasnt inclusive to certain policies.
