Current Employee My experience at Idelic has been a mix of highs and lows. While I’ve grown and learned a lot, most of my development has come from personal efforts—books and podcasts—rather than structured training. Leadership offers some professional development, but it falls short. Investing more in employee growth would make a real difference.
This isn’t an ideal company for someone starting in sales. The base pay and OTE are somewhat competitive, but hitting quota is rare. In over eight years, with more than 100 Account Executives, only one has reached quota. Even highly skilled AEs have struggled, highlighting a product and leadership issue rather than a sales performance problem.
Leadership can be difficult to work with. While they create a fun environment, trust is a concern, and some leaders seem unqualified for their roles.
The product has potential but isn’t essential for the industry. Companies can benefit from it but don’t necessarily need it. The product team is resistant to new features, missing opportunities for valuable improvements. Bringing in fresh, innovative talent could help drive meaningful change. Leadership should focus on product-market fit and employee investment to create a stronger foundation for success. Browse Other Reviews
