They used to have an in depth meritocracy system where you were rewarded more inbound leads for closing deals - they quickly stripped that away and everyone's numbers went significantly down - if you weren't on what was called a "PILOT" team - you got ZERO inbound leads - whereas weekly you'd get about 5-10 depending on how well you close them - which used to reset weekly so everyone had opportunity. Everyone's numbers took a significant hit after they ridded the meritocracy system. like 40-60% reduction in commissions.

Loved my coworkers but other than that it was terrible experience. They overtired and then put the entire sales department on performance plans. Then they required us to sign forms agreeing to lower compensation than what we were hired for. It was awful. Almost everyone quit after that.

Company started out great about 6 years ago but the current direction for CSMs is pretty grim.
