Only truly able to support 2-3 sales reps per branch effectively. Unless you’re a “good ol boy” with 20+ years you likely won’t be one of them.

Lack of training, no clear career path, no quota for the Sales Trainee role. Which is good but 0 guidance in what you need to do. You have to find out yourself.

Overall I had a good experience at Graybar. One of the challenges was they kept changing direction. My title changed from Business Development Manager to Account Manager (which was different from an Outside Sales Rep) and they didn't seem to quite know how to compensate Account Managers. And then I got laid off during the pandemic.
